About Filasophia
Filasophia is a company founded in 2023 with headquarters in Munich that develops solutions for challenges in FDM 3D printing. The core product is an Adhesive & Release Set (adhesion agent and release agent, 100 ml each) that improves first-layer adhesion and facilitates removal of finished parts. This enables demanding engineering filaments such as PP, PA/Nylon, PC, ABS, HIPS, PVDF as well as CF- and GF-reinforced filaments to be printed even on user-grade, open-frame FDM printers without warping, layer separation or detachment. The company targets makers, print farms and manufacturers who want to produce functional, durable parts in-house. One kit provides around 200 applications on an area of 150x150 mm. In addition to adhesion systems, Filasophia offers print beds as well as technical support for printing with engineering filaments. The products were launched globally within five months; the company was represented at Formnext and is building worldwide partnerships, including with Filament2print in Spain.

Materials & Processes
PLA
Standard filament for which the adhesion system likewise improves first-layer adhesion.
ABS
Warping-prone technical filament whose adhesion the system secures on open print beds.
PETG
Improved first-layer adhesion and easier part removal.
TPU
Elastomer filament that adheres reliably via the adhesion system.
Nylon (PA)
Technical filament with high warping tendency that becomes printable without an enclosure.
PC (Polycarbonate)
High-temperature engineering filament made adhesive for user-grade FDM printers.
PP (Polypropylene, e.g. PP 2320 Fillamentum)
Food-safe, hard-to-adhere filament whose low surface energy the system compensates for.
HIPS
Technical filament that can be printed reliably via the adhesion system.
PVDF (Fillamentum Fluorodur)
High-shrinkage fluoropolymer whose warping tendency is reduced by the adhesion system.
CF-reinforced filaments
Carbon fiber-reinforced filaments that are printable with the adhesion system.
GF-reinforced filaments
Glass fiber-reinforced filaments that are printable with the adhesion system.
