FilmoTec GmbH was founded in 1998 and emerged from the world-renowned ORWO film factory. The company continues the manufacture of photographic recording materials at the traditional film site of Wolfen. The production range includes negative camera films, positive print films, duplicate positive films, duplicate negative films, sound negative film as well as leader films, surveillance films, holographic films and special films. As a producer of black-and-white motion picture films, FilmoTec supplies customers worldwide, including film archives, film labs, post-production companies, film studios and film schools.
