Filter System Steyr GmbH (FSS) is an engineering company founded in 2023 and headquartered in Steyr, Austria, which emerged as a spin-off of ESS-Engineering Software Steyr GmbH. The company develops tailored air filter solutions, using its in-house CFD simulation software to align filter designs specifically with customer requirements. The focus is on improving airflow, pressure loss and moisture behaviour compared with conventional filter solutions, while simultaneously increasing service life and sustainability. Target markets are protective equipment, automotive, industrial applications and public safety.
