Filtrona is a globally active, independent provider of filter solutions and scientific services with over 100 years of experience in developing innovative specialty filters for the tobacco industry. The company develops and manufactures filters based on cellulose acetate as well as plastic-free, biodegradable filters of the ECO Range™ using Genia non-woven, a non-woven material made from 100 % cellulose. The portfolio includes filter design and development, a product catalogue with product consultation, and Scientific Services. Filtrona operates nine manufacturing sites, two Scientific Services sites, one Centre of Excellence and two Innovation Centres, including locations in Hungary, the UAE, India, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Paraguay, the USA and Singapore.
