About the Finanzamt Bingen-Alzey
The Finanzamt Bingen-Alzey is a tax authority of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It processes tax returns and issues tax assessments for employees, pensioners, tradespeople, freelancers as well as for rental and leasing income. Its responsibilities also include enforcement and tax audits (external audits). At the service centers in Bingen and Alzey, tax returns and documents can be submitted, applications for wage tax reductions filed, and certification requests made; direct processing does not take place at the counter. Payment transactions for all Rhineland-Palatinate tax offices are handled centrally via the Finanzamt Idar-Oberstein (State Treasury Cash Office). The tax office trains revenue officers (Finanzwirte) and participates in the uniform statewide training program at the State Finance School in Edenkoben. The main office is located in the listed service building from 1927/28 at Rochusallee 10 in Bingen.
