About Findoor
Findoor GmbH is a manufacturer of folding doors (Folding Doors) that open sideways and require no headroom. The first model was created in 1989 in Finland, designed and built by the brothers Seppo and Tauno Jaara; since then, over 40,000 doors have been installed in Europe and North America. The doors consist of 26-gauge steel panels bonded with high-density polyisocyanurate insulation (R-12.5) and feature EPDM rubber weather seals as well as stainless steel handles; standard colors are achieved with the pre-coated steel sheet Colorcoat® SDP 50 (Tata Steel). Every door is manufactured to customer specification – color, dimensions, window glazing, wicket and man doors, electric or chain drives, and panic hardware. The doors are available up to 16 m wide and 10 m high and are suitable for agricultural buildings, fire stations, car washes, warehouses, mining, utilities, aircraft hangars and other commercial and industrial buildings. Findoor GmbH, based in Berlin, serves as the sales and contact office for customers in Europe, especially in Scandinavia; production takes place in Europe with a production time of 2–3 weeks.
