About Findus Switzerland
Findus Switzerland AG produces and distributes frozen products for Swiss retail and the European market. The company was founded in 1886 as the cannery Bernhard & Co. in Rorschach and is one of the traditional businesses of the Lake Constance region. The product portfolio includes breaded fish specialities, lasagne, cannelloni, Plätzli, spinach, vegetable mixes, potato products, snacks, berries and plant-based alternatives. Part of the range – including Plätzli and lasagne – is produced at the Rorschach site using Swiss ingredients such as beef, spinach, potatoes, Emmentaler, Sbrinz and Gruyère as well as freshly made dough. The fish in the retail range comes 100 % from MSC- or ASC-certified fisheries and aquacultures. Findus Switzerland AG employs around 96 staff and has been part of the British Nomad Foods Group since 2021.
