About FingerHaus
FingerHaus is a family-owned company founded in 1820, headquartered in Frankenberg (Eder), and manufactures individually planned prefabricated houses in modern timber prefab construction. The portfolio includes single-family homes, bungalows, semi-detached and multi-family houses as well as commercial and multi-storey residential construction in timber and hybrid construction, complemented by freely designed architect houses. All wall, ceiling and roof elements are prefabricated in the factory, protected from the weather: digital elementisation is followed by millimetre-precise timber framing, computer-controlled panel cutting, robot-assisted panelling, insulation, plaster application and the installation of windows, doors and heating/plumbing pre-installations. Materials are PEFC-certified structural timber (spruce), wood-based and gypsum building panels, as well as beech solid wood and steel for stairs from own production; basements and foundation slabs are supplied by the company's own basement plant. With more than 740 houses sold per year, the company serves private customers and commercial construction in Germany.
