Finiglas – First Class Curved Glass
Finiglas Veredelungs GmbH, based in Dülmen, is a glass processing company specialized in curved architectural glass and part of the SEMCO Group. At the core of production is bending mould technology, which enables cylindrical and spherical bending shapes as well as conical, aspherical and parabolic geometries up to a maximum size of 3200 x 6000 mm. From curved float glass, ESG and VSG, insulating glass units with thermal and solar control coatings (FINI Curve Star / FINI Curve Sun) and laminated safety glass, manufactured using autoclave technology with PVB or SentryGlas interlayers, are produced. Further business areas are planar VSG and glass-film laminates in XXL formats as well as the bullet-resistant safety glass FINI PROTECT according to EN 1063 in resistance classes BR1 to BR6. Customers include architecture, façade and security projects, such as office buildings, public buildings, hotels and yacht construction. Finiglas was the first glass processor to receive the general building authority approval (Z-70.4-146) from the DIBt for curved float glass and curved VSG.
