About FIOLA Filter Technology
FIOLA GmbH, based in Hattingen, specializes in filter technology for liquid media and develops and manufactures automatic backflushing filters of the FIOLA AQUAPROTECT product range as well as the corresponding filter candles. In addition to standardized systems, the company realizes customer-specific filter dimensions for water and wastewater treatment via a Customized Construction Service, including welded filter housing constructions for operating pressures up to 40 bar. Rigid stainless steel V-slot filter candles as well as the company's own developed breathing ElastoSlot filter candles made of polypropylene are used as filter elements, with filtration finenesses from 50 µm to 1000 µm. The systems achieve flow rates up to 10,000 m³/h; according to the company, more than 10,000 filters are in operation, processing more than 200,000 m³ of treated water per day. The company supplies customers worldwide and additionally offers spare parts supply as well as maintenance management by its own service team. FIOLA is part of the family-owned Barton Group.
