About Firalux Design AG
Firalux Design AG, based in Böckten (canton of Basel-Landschaft, Switzerland), is an owner-managed company founded in 1996 by Goffredo Loertscher, specialising in indoor and outdoor luminaires as well as lamps. Originally a specialist in high-quality ceiling spotlights, Firalux has been developing into the Firalux Group with an expanded portfolio and professional lighting design since its acquisition by David Sutter in 2024. The company's own Fira collection comprises more than 40 luminaire models, whose components are each milled from a single piece of aluminium and manufactured individually to order; aluminium die casting, glass and opal glass are used in addition. The product range extends from recessed spots to pendant, wall and floor luminaires through to intelligent shop lighting systems and light-line systems for commercial and industrial applications. Over 1'000 items are available from own stock, and orders can be placed around the clock via the webshop. Customers include architecture firms, planners, building owners and electrical professionals in residential construction, retail, commercial, industrial and public buildings.

Components of the Fira collection are milled from a single piece of solid aluminium.
Aluminium die casting
Housings of recessed luminaires and recessed spotlights such as AIO R10 and AIO BIG.
Glass
Clear front glass on recessed luminaires; pendant luminaires of the Fira collection with glass.
Opal glass
Glare-free, soft light in luminaires such as Tori.
LED technology
Modular LED systems with CRI >90, DALI control and up to 180 lm/W.
