About FireBox Swiss

FireBox Swiss AG, based in Muri near Bern, develops and manufactures container solutions for the safe storage and quarantine of lithium batteries as well as for the recovery of damaged electric vehicles. The product range extends from simple extinguishing units to integrated fire detection, alarm and aerosol extinguishing systems with passive fire protection cladding. The FireBox 20-ft container can be used as a stationary or mobile unit, detects an outbreak of fire, raises the alarm, extinguishes it and suppresses re-ignition for at least 45 minutes. At the core of the technology is the patented FirePro FPC aerosol extinguishing technology, which operates without water, without pressure and is non-toxic. Depending on the configuration, the containers are equipped with GSM alarm transmission, door contact switch, lighting, 230-volt connection as well as options such as a containment tray, air conditioning, charging platform, pallet racking, temperature sensor, water retention barrier or roll-off frame. Customers come from lithium battery storage, e-mobility as well as industry and logistics.
