About Ludwig Engelhart

Ludwig Engelhart produces organic fertilizers for nurseries, organic farmers and hobby gardeners. Founded in 1925 in Munich, the company developed a special fermentation process (Fermento-Mix process) together with landscape architect Prof. Alwin Seifert, to which all products are subjected. The fertilizers are made exclusively from organic raw materials; vinasse of plant origin serves as the potassium source, while leather meal, stable manure and mineral washable nitrogen are avoided. In addition to fine-crumbly products, pelletized variants are offered, among others for lawns, roses and rhododendrons. The products are continuously analyzed by an independent, accredited laboratory and are approved for organic farming under the EU Organic Regulation; several products are listed in the FiBL input list. Production, factory sales and administration are located at the Schloßgut Erching estate in Hallbergmoos near Munich.
