Firma Maucher-Anneser, EH, operates the Kristallgarten Maucher in Munich-Pasing, a specialist store for minerals, gemstone jewellery, fossils and healing stones. The company was founded in 1909 by Dipl.-Ing. Wilhelm Maucher as the Süddeutsche Mineralienzentrale and is the oldest specialist mineral store in southern Germany. Its range includes minerals in raw and polished form, gemstone jewellery, engravings and fossils. The offering also includes advice on minerals and jewellery, public mineral tours and a YouTube channel with information about minerals. Customers include private individuals as well as institutes, scientists and collectors. The store is located at Gleichmannstraße 9 (inner courtyard) in Munich-Pasing, about one minute from the S-Bahn station.

Foundation of the Süddeutsche Mineralienzentrale by Wilhelm Maucher at Schellingstraße 73 in Munich-Schwabing.

Wilhelm Maucher discovers the mineral Maucherit (Ni11As8) in Eisleben; in 1903 he had already discovered Vrbait.
