About First Sensor
First Sensor AG is a German sensor manufacturer based in Berlin-Oberschöneweide and part of the TE Connectivity group. The company develops and produces custom sensors, electronic circuits, assemblies and complex systems for the target markets Industrial, Medical and Mobility (automotive and transport) as well as aerospace and defense. The product portfolio includes flow, pressure and radiation sensors as well as cameras, which are used among other things for driver assistance systems in automotive engineering. First Sensor offers complete development services from concept through proof-of-concept and prototype development to production readiness, including interconnection technology. Manufacturing takes place in its own cleanrooms of ISO classes 8 to 5; in 1995 an own production line for 4-inch silicon wafers was commissioned. Further production sites are located in Germany, the Netherlands, the USA and Canada.
