About Fischer Connectors
Fischer Connectors is a Swiss manufacturer of electrical and optical connectors, cable assemblies and data and power electronics. Founded in 1954 by Walter Werner Fischer in Morges, the company has continued developing the original push-pull locking system and today manufactures more than 30,000 standard connectors – from miniature and high-density connectors to sealed (IP68/IP69), hermetic and fiber optic versions for extreme conditions such as temperature fluctuations, vibration, corrosion and radiation. Materials used include brass, stainless steel, aluminum and plastic; medical cables are produced using silicone overmolding. The value chain covers design, proof of concept, prototyping, testing and deployment, including flexible printed circuit boards, adapter modules, PoE+ switches and rugged USB flash drives. The products are used in aerospace, defense, medical technology, broadcast, industry, marine, sensing and other industries. The main production site and group R&D center is Saint-Prex on Lake Geneva; the company is part of the Conextivity technology group founded in 2022 with more than 700 employees worldwide.
