About Fischer

Fischer Maschinen- und Apparatebau GmbH, based in Ebreichsdorf near Vienna, was founded in 1933 and is one of the first manufacturers of plate heat exchangers for the food industry to successfully establish itself on the world market. The company manufactures heat exchanger plates on its own presses using in-house produced press tools, complete plate heat exchangers, and pasteurization systems for beer, milk and juices. Plates are made from stainless steel AISI 316L, titanium ASTM B265-11 G1 and nickel alloy UNS N10276 as well as further alloys on request, in various material thicknesses; standard plates have surface areas of 0.05 to 1.5 m². A strict manufacturing and quality control system accompanies production. Customers come from the food and beverage industry, the chemical, steel and cellulose industries as well as heating and solar technology, water treatment, desalination and steam condensation. The US subsidiary Fischer-US LLC in Richmond, Virginia also serves the American market and worldwide spare parts supply.
