A family business with a passion for metal

Fischer Maschinenbau GmbH is a mid-sized family business founded in 1970, located in Erkheim-Schlegelsberg near Mindelheim in the Unterallgäu region. As a contract manufacturer for mechanical engineering, plant construction, automotive and commercial vehicle engineering, the 25-strong team covers the entire production process: CAD-supported design, CNC milling, turning and drilling, laser cutting, flame and plasma cutting, press braking, conventional and robot-assisted welding, as well as sandblasting and painting in all RAL colors. Workpieces up to 10 tonnes unit weight are manufactured in one-off production up to small series; complete assembly is available on request. Materials processed include steel, fine-grain structural steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Production takes place in production halls that have been expanded several times at the Brühlweg 27 site, most recently supplemented by a 1600 m² production and storage hall (2016). An own vehicle fleet ensures on-time logistics, especially for customers in the Allgäu region between Ulm, Kempten, Lindau and Munich.
