The Company
fischer-protec GmbH is a medium-sized, owner-managed family company based in the Burgau industrial area. The company was founded in 1974 by Karl Fischer and today employs around 25 staff on a 5,000 sqm site with a 1,200 sqm production hall. The core of production is the processing of flexible and technical plastics, films and fabrics: PVC and PE films, coated fabrics, tarpaulin materials, nylon fabrics and composite materials are processed into customer-specific products by high-frequency and heat impulse welding, in the industrial sewing shop, by cutting and punching/die-cutting processes, as well as by screen printing and hot embossing. The production and service focuses are protective covers and protective hoods for devices, machines and containers, collection containers for garden and agricultural machinery, tarpaulins, sun sails, textile compartments as well as reusable packaging and picking systems for trolleys and wire mesh boxes. In addition, fischer-protec manufactures patient transfer aids for the care sector and covers for aviation and automotive. Production is oriented to customer orders and is not bound to specific quantities; the sample department develops individual solutions for coated and uncoated fabrics, films and plastics.

Materials and Processes
PVC film and PVC-coated fabric
Processed predominantly by high-frequency welding (pressure welding process).
PE film and PE-coated film
Predominantly welded by the heat impulse process.
Nylon fabric
Used for dust protection covers for device housings.
PES/PVC fabric
Durable, tear-resistant material for trolley side walls.
Nonwoven material
Used for collection containers and transport packaging such as Swing out.
Synthetic leather material
Used for bags such as flipchart carrying bags and motorcycle luggage rolls.
Three-layer composite material
Used for thermal covers with heat and cold storage.
Tarpaulin fabric
Weather-resistant, tear-resistant and UV-stabilized material for weather protection covers, tarpaulins and covers.
