fitforJOB! Augsburg is a training fair jointly organized by the Chamber of Crafts for Swabia (Handwerkskammer für Schwaben) and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Swabia (Industrie- und Handelskammer Schwaben). The next event takes place on 20 February 2027 from 9 to 15 o'clock at Messe Augsburg, Halls 5, 6 and 7; admission is free. At the fair, companies from the region present their apprenticeship positions and dual study programs; visitors can speak directly with apprentices and training supervisors. The website additionally offers career choice tips on application documents, online applications, job interviews, and career choice checklists, as well as an exhibitor overview, exhibitor profiles, and a list of professions. Exhibitor support is provided by Einstieg GmbH in Cologne. It is not a manufacturing company, but an event of the two chambers, both of which are public-law corporations.
