About Fixatorenbau Bertuch & Co. GmbH
Fixatorenbau Bertuch & Co. GmbH (BWF) has been producing and distributing guide elements for the stiff, adjustable connection between machine and foundation for over 60 years. Under the trademarked term BW-Fixatoren® since 1965, key shoes, levelling jacks, and guide elements are manufactured in numerous construction series for almost every type of machine. The family company is still owned by the founding families today and manufactures at its headquarters in Leverkusen. Additionally, BWF offers assembly services: pre-measuring and casting the fixtures into the foundation before machine installation, including drilling anchor holes. Using modern laser trackers, industrial surveys, foundation inspections, and measurements for machine relocation are also carried out worldwide. Customers include renowned manufacturers of machine tools, printing presses, electric motors, turbines, generators, textile machines, compressors, cooling units, and wood processing machines.

The measurement of the guide elements is performed with laser trackers with an accuracy of ± 0.5 mm in the X-Y direction and ± 0.2 mm in the Z direction; after securing the casting material, the position is checked and documented in a measurement protocol. The company is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and holds an AEO certificate.
