FKW Fertigungsmaschinenbau Kilgenstein Wiesen GmbH is a specialist for special and special-purpose machines as well as individual problem solutions in mechanical engineering. Founded in 1984 in Wiesen in the Lower Franconian Spessart, the company has always modernized and overhauled machine tools, in particular grinding machines, and offers maintenance, servicing and repair for a wide range of machine brands. Its range of services also includes the construction of hydraulic presses, hand pumps, hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic tools (the former Matra hydraulics program), as well as an extensive spare parts offering and inspected, overhauled used machines. In an aviation research project, FKW developed the APE machine for automated tube processing for the aerospace industry, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and supported by DLR. Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 underlines the company's quality standards; reference customers come from aerospace, mechanical engineering and machine tool manufacturing. Since May 2025, Maximilian Schäfer and Christoph Henn have led the company.
