Flaig Präzisionstechnik GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned machining company based in Niedereschach in the Schwarzwald-Baar district. The company produces drawing-based precision parts in single-part and series production, with a focus on turned parts manufactured on modern CNC lathes as well as rotationally symmetrical components on cylindrical grinding machines with tolerances of ± 3 µ. The core competence is the machining of difficult, austenitic chrome-nickel steels such as 1.4404, 1.4435 and 1.4571; in addition, steel, brass, Ecobrass, aluminium and titanium are processed. As a full-service provider, Flaig handles heat treatments and surface finishing with regional partners and delivers ready-to-install components, including measurement reports and SPC evaluations. Customers come from mechanical engineering and mould making, the automotive industry, electrical engineering and medical technology, as well as from the region around Villingen-Schwenningen, Rottweil, Schramberg and Tuttlingen. Quality is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.

Gebhard Flaig founds the sole proprietorship Gebhard Flaig Dreherei (turnery) in Dauchingerstraße in Niedereschach; the first technical acquisition is a cam-controlled Bechler B20 turning automat.
- 1984
Bertram Flaig, son of the company founder, takes over the sole proprietorship.

Acquisition of the first CNC milling machine.
