About Flamingo® FWT GmbH
Flamingo® FWT GmbH (Flamingo water technology) is an owner-managed family business in its second generation, headquartered in Vogtei OT Langula in Thuringia. Founded in 1973, the company produces and distributes water treatment agents and filter aids for swimming pools, drinking water, beverage filtration and industrial filtration. In the industrial filtration segment, diatomaceous earth (Clarcel®, Puricel®), expanded perlite (Minafil, Minalite) and bleaching earth (Tonsil®) are offered; diatomaceous earth is calcined at 800–1200 °C and perlite is expanded at over 1000 °C. Since 1997, the company has been the German sales partner of Chemviron France SAS for diatomaceous earth and perlite. In addition, FWT GmbH offers services such as pool optimization, ultrasonic flow measurements, filter renovation according to DIN 19643 and water analyses in its in-house laboratory. Deliveries are made worldwide, including sea freight and air cargo.
