Flammer GmbH, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Cleebronn (southern Germany), is a manufacturer of autonomous protection systems, flame arresters, flame barriers and flow straighteners for explosion protection. The product range includes deflagration and detonation inline arresters, end-of-line arresters, pressure/vacuum vent end-of-line arresters, liquid detonation arresters, foot valves as well as crimped ribbon elements and flame barriers, tested in accordance with DIN EN ISO 16852 with EC type examination certificates under the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU. As an OEM supplier of flame arresters and flow straighteners, the company develops customer-specific solutions that are also used in pumps, engines and mass-produced equipment. The products are used in the analysis, storage, measurement and transport of gases, including in the chemical/pharmaceutical industry, tank farms, biogas plants and shipbuilding. Production is mainly carried out in stainless steel (including 1.4571, V4A/AISI 316), Hastelloy and galvanized steel with various connection options (threads, DIN EN, ANSI and JIS flanges).
