About Fleury-Art
Fleury-Art GmbH is a Swiss manufacturer and mail-order retailer for art supplies based in Basel. The company was founded in 2007 by entrepreneurial painters and sells its products directly to end consumers via its own online shop. At the core of its own production are stretched stretcher-bar frames in studio and gallery quality as well as custom-made frames to measure; the frame bars made of European pine from sustainable forestry are multi-layer glued (laminated) and corner-wedged with zinc wedges. The canvas fabrics made of 100% cotton (280 g/m² studio, 425 g/m² gallery) are stretched by hand, stapled only at the back and double-coated with white gesso universal primer. In addition, the company distributes under its own brand FLEURY artist paints, passe-partouts, painting boards as well as supplementary products such as the casting resin FLEURY Resin and paint additives of the Owatrol brand.
