About Fleury SA

Fleury SA is a Swiss company founded in 1964 and headquartered in Bienne, specializing in the construction of modular transfer machines for the watch industry. The company's own modulo machine system comprises machining, drilling, decoration and assembly modules and enables the production of mainplates and bridges in a single pass without stamping processes, around the clock. With over 50 years of experience in machine building for the watch industry, more than 500 modulo units are in operation worldwide. At its production site in Balerna, Ticino, Fleury SA also offers contract manufacturing: complete machining of blanks on both sides in a single pass, including sandblasting, cleaning, decoration, lining and galvanic treatment. Production is carried out using dry machining from steel, titanium and lead-free brass alloys – from prototypes through small series up to series of 250,000 components. Customers include well-known watch brands.

Materials and Processes

Stahl

Steel

Hardest of the three manufactured materials; machinable in the modulo system using dry machining.

Ti

Titanium

Hard material for watch components, machinable on the modulo transfer machines.

CuZn (bleifrei)

Lead-free brass alloys

Standard material of the watch industry for mainplates, bridges and brass tubes; produced without lead.
