About Flexipack International
Flexipack International Wunderlich GmbH & Co. KG develops and manufactures at its Baar-Ebenhausen site (greater Ingolstadt area) and at the Wenden-Gerlingen branch (greater Olpe area) customized packaging and transport protection solutions made of molded cushioning paper. The core product Flexipack® consists of 100 % recycled waste paper, is dimensionally stable and flexible, and is supplied as roll goods, cushioning tubing, die-cut blanks, edge protection profile (ÖKOedge), cushioning pouch (Protect Case) or anti-slip underlay for load securing. Finishing processes such as laminating with papers and equipping with multi-materials (PE foam, PU foam, air bubble film, PP nonwoven, Goretex fabric) meet customer-specific protection requirements. Main customers include the automotive industry including CKD packaging (Flatpad®), the furniture industry, the sanitary and radiator sector, and construction with the Titacord® product group (parquet underlay, screed edge insulation strip, impact sound insulation). Founded in 1952, the company employs around 150 staff and produces approximately 44 million m² of Flexipack® per year. In addition to product manufacturing, the service portfolio includes packaging development, packing and transport tests, and consulting on machine-based and automated processing solutions.
