FlexMod Automation is an engineering office for industrial automation based in Zuzenhausen. Owner Steffen Ecker brings 15 years of experience in the plastics industry, including production planning, as deputy production manager and as head of an automation department. The company supports small and medium-sized manufacturing businesses in automating their production: services include PLC programming (Siemens, Beckhoff), automation consulting, robot integration with KUKA, ABB and Fanuc, as well as retrofit and modernization of existing systems including HMI solutions and operator training. In addition, FlexMod Automation offers a 3D printing service for prototypes, fixtures, spare parts and small series made from robust plastics, including material consulting and design support. The solutions are modular and scalable, with transparent documentation and data collection in line with Industry 4.0. The target group is primarily SMEs from the plastics and general manufacturing industries.
