Fliegl Trailer produces semi-trailers, trailers and chassis at the Triptis plant (Thuringia) for transport and logistics needs. The portfolio includes curtain-sided semi-trailers, platform semi-trailers, tipper semi-trailers, long trucks (Eurocombi), swap-body chassis and bridges, container chassis, low-loaders, tandem trailers, waste management vehicles as well as special solutions for timber transport and agriculture. Production takes place in small and large series in steel construction through to final assembly, exclusively using OEM supplier parts and Made in Germany. Materials are primarily fine-grain and high-strength steels for lightweight welded constructions; low-loaders additionally feature 70 mm thick timber planks as flooring. Alongside standard vehicles, the company develops tailor-made special constructions, e.g. an optimised chemical chassis for e-truck use in hazardous goods transport. In-house innovations such as the Quick Lock System, the Anti-Ice System and the conical tipper body complement the range. Customers come from freight forwarding and logistics, the construction industry, waste management, agriculture and forestry, fuel trading and chemical logistics.
