About Flight Team

Flight Team is a company specialized in microlight aviation, based in Ippesheim, Bavaria. The company has been active in this field since 1989; its core activities are the trade in microlight aircraft – in particular the PIPISTREL brand –, flight training, sightseeing flights, and comprehensive service including maintenance, avionics work and annual inspections. From 1990 to 2024, Flight Trial – more precisely Flight Team – was the German distributor of PIPISTREL trikes and later microlight aircraft; in addition, the company distributed the Spider and Twister trike undercarriages, some equipped with wings from Air Creation (France). Furthermore, Flight Team is the German service and sales partner for GRS/Galaxy Rescue Systems rescue systems. The flight school offers type instruction, further training, theory and practical exams, cross-country flight training and flight safety training on modern microlight aircraft, which are housed in a 250 sqm hangar at the company's headquarters. Beginner training is no longer offered. Sightseeing flights with microlight aircraft as far as the Alps as well as in the open trike over the Franconian homeland round off the offering; sales and purchase support is also part of the service portfolio.
