About Floating Knobs

Floating Knobs is a Berlin-based manufacturer of performative musical instruments. The product range includes the modular synthesizer Spice, a quadraphonic oscillator in Eurorack format (12 HP), as well as the instrument Cuisine. The company is built on roughly ten years of experience in studying and repairing defective devices, from which a clear understanding of the quality and functionality of performative instruments emerged. Each instrument is assembled by hand to order. The hardware designs are published as open source in order to give back to the community. The offering includes firmware updates and a repair service; the instruments come with a 2-year warranty.
