About Floecksmühle
Floecksmühle Energietechnik GmbH, based in Aachen, has been manufacturing air- and water-filled tube weirs (rubber dams) for hydraulic engineering and hydropower since 1985. The company covers the entire value chain: from design and engineering through production to installation and maintenance of the systems. The rubber tube membranes are cut on the company's own production premises, which reduces installation time on site. In the 1,800 m² production hall in Alsdorf, incoming goods inspection, pre-assembly of assemblies and quality control take place; test setups serve the continuous further development of tube weir technology. In a separate electrical workshop, control cabinets for the tube weir systems are built and electrical components are tested. Administration, design and electrical engineering are located at Bachstraße in Aachen.
