Competence in drop forging and machining since 1886

Flükiger & Co. AG is a family-owned company in Oberburg in the Canton of Bern that has been producing metal components through metal forming and machining since 1886. Its core competence is drop-forged parts made from all forgeable materials, including unalloyed and high-alloy steels, stainless high-grade steels, aluminium, titanium, copper and nickel-based alloys. On six forging presses of various sizes, drop-forged parts weighing from 0.1 kg to approx. 150 kg are produced. The parts are heat-treated in-house, machined ready for installation on CNC lathes and milling machines, and finished and coated. The team of around fifty employees manufactures prototypes as well as small and medium series with short delivery times for the machinery industry, energy and rail technology, the rail and transport industry, and aerospace. Flükiger & Co. AG is certified to ISO 9001 and EN 9100 and is qualified as a supplier of rail vehicle parts and track materials for Deutsche Bahn AG.
