About FluidSolids

FluidSolids AG, headquartered in Zurich, is a technology provider for natural, fiber-based high-performance materials used as an alternative to petroleum-based plastics. Using a proprietary process, biocomposites are manufactured from bio-based residual materials such as nutshells, wood fibers, corn cobs, cardboard, hemp fibers, paper or cellulose – 100% plastic-free, free of microplastics, home-compostable and with significantly reduced CO2 emissions. The Zurich headquarters host a production line for granulates and masterbatches, a grinding pilot plant for raw material preparation, and an in-house laboratory for certification and quality assurance. The range of services includes material development of customer-specific formulations, engineering and toolmaking, in-house injection molding production of small series as well as component production and mass production with certified partners. Customers include, among others, Google, the corvaglia group and ABInBev. Fields of application are the packaging industry, consumer goods and hardware products, and general plastics processing.
