About Flumroc
Flumroc AG, headquartered in Flums (SG), produces insulation materials made from stone wool. The portfolio includes building products such as insulation boards for facades, pitched and flat roofs, floors, partition walls and acoustic applications, as well as screed floor elements, plus technical insulation for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, industrial applications and fire protection solutions such as Conlit Steelprotect boards and Ductboard systems for ventilation ducts. The stone wool is produced at the Flums site from Swiss raw materials; the raw density and thermal conductivity vary by product, and the melting point of the stone wool is above 1000 °C (fire behaviour A1). In addition, a cutting and converting service (cutting, shaping, grinding to measure) is offered, along with coatings of the insulation boards with glass fleece, glass silk fabric, pure aluminium or BCP vapour barrier. Customers are construction companies, planners and industry from the construction, building services, fire protection and water management sectors, mainly in Switzerland.

Stone wool (FUTURO generation)
Non-combustible insulation material (fire behaviour A1) with a melting point above 1000 °C for thermal insulation, sound protection and fire protection.
Chipboard
Grooved 16-mm chipboard bonded with stone wool as a walkable screed floor element.
Aluminium coating
Pure aluminium or grid-reinforced aluminium coating for technical insulation boards in the high-temperature range.
Glass fleece / glass silk fabric
Coating option for insulation boards, among others for acoustic ceilings and applications with special requirements.
Galvanised steel sheet
Material of the ventilation ducts, for whose fire protection cladding the Conlit Ductboard systems are used.
