FluorTex GmbH Polymer Technology is a manufacturer of gasket sheets, gasket tapes, flat gasket tapes, joint sealant as well as membranes and other products made of PTFE and expanded PTFE (ePTFE). The company is organized into the divisions Sealing Technology (microFlon®, multiFlon®, monoFlon®), Membrane Technology (multiFlon®) and Medical Technology. In Membrane Technology, ePTFE membranes are produced for exhaust air and supply air filtration (HEPA/ULPA), for functional textiles and personal protective equipment, and for pressure compensation elements in the automotive sector; this also includes ePTFE seam sealing tape for filter bags. The sealing materials include barium sulfate-filled PTFE and PTFE with hollow glass microspheres (borosilicate), processed into sheets up to 1500 × 1500 mm. At its site in Rott am Inn in Upper Bavaria, solutions for industry, medical technology, automotive, filtration, chemistry and petrochemicals are developed and produced on approx. 10,000 m² of floor space. In addition, the company offers application engineering, design support for sealing joints, training on ePTFE and PTFE products, and development as a service.
