About Flybotix
Flybotix SA is a company founded in 2019 in Renens Vaud (Switzerland) that develops and produces indoor inspection drones as well as associated software solutions. The ASIO product system comprises the ASIO X inspection drone with dual-rotor design and protective cage (cage design), the computer app ASIO Explore for on-site data validation with LiDAR data and 3D point clouds, and the ASIO Connect cloud platform for data management and AI analytics. The drones enable visual inspection, gas sensing and digitalization (digital twins) in confined spaces of industrial facilities, including sewage canals, wind turbines, water and energy infrastructure, as well as facilities of the maritime industry and underground mining. According to a customer report, round trips of 180 meters in the sewerage system are possible with approximately 20 minutes of flight time. The aim is to reduce risk for employees who would otherwise have to carry out hazardous work in confined spaces themselves. In 2023 the company achieved the #1 ranking in robotics nationwide in Switzerland; in 2024 ASIO X was launched on the market.
