About FMK wire manufacture
FMK wire manufacture is an owner-managed supplier based in Bücken near Hoya (Lower Saxony). The company produces customer-specific cables and cable assemblies made to measure for mass spectrometry, medical technology and other technical applications. In addition, FMK offers small-series assembly of fully assembled modules made from prefabricated precision parts, thereby relieving customer production lines during production bottlenecks and outsourcing projects. The value chain includes not only cable assembly but also in-house manufacturing processes: spot and laser welding for precise joints, CNC turning and milling for small series and lightweight components, vibratory finishing for surface finishing, as well as ultrasonic cleaning of components in isopropanol or requirement-specific chemicals. As a specialised team-based operation with 5–9 employees, FMK delivers, by its own account, short lead times, fast processing and high product quality, also serving as capacity reservation for customers' production overflows.
