About FOAMGLAS®

FOAMGLAS®, a brand of the Owens Corning group with its European headquarters in Tessenderlo (Belgium), manufactures thermal insulation made of cellular glass (foam glass). The rigid insulation material consists of millions of fully closed glass cells and combines non-combustibility (Euroclass A1), high compressive strength, water resistance, vapour tightness and thermal insulation performance that remains stable over time. The solutions provide protection against pressure, fire and smoke, corrosion, water as well as heat and cold. Application areas include watertight buildings, industrial plants, marine applications, HVAC, load-bearing heavy-duty surfaces such as flat roofs (Compact Roof), structures in contact with the ground, and tank foundations in the oil and gas sector, including insulation of hot storage tanks and systems for combating CUI (Corrosion Under Insulation).
