About Pipe Robotics
Pipe Robotics is a brand of Foccus Innovation GmbH based in Vienna (Anna-Bastel-Gasse 1/1, 1220 Vienna) and develops modular, fully electric systems for the trenchless rehabilitation of sewer pipes. The core product is the cutting and milling robot easyCutter modular (e-Cutter DN125–DN315) for pipe diameters from DN125/5" to DN315/12", which operates without compressed air and without water containers, making it ready for use all year round in any weather. The e-Components series includes, alongside the robot, the supply and control unit e-Base, the tool and adapter program e-Quipment, and the service and repair system PipeRobox™. The individual modules weigh a maximum of 3.5 kg and, thanks to carbon-fiber-reinforced push cables and lightweight aluminum components, can be transported by one person and shipped worldwide. The systems are characterized by plug-and-play setup, real-time HD camera documentation, seven different operating modes (including Continuous Feed, Worm-like Feed, Slide, Branch-off, Bend and Dimension Jump Mode) as well as operation even in vertical pipes. Development is based on observations, analyses and feedback from rehabilitation teams on real construction sites; manufacturing follows the Made in Austria standard.

Technology and System Components
Lightweight aluminum and carbon fiber push cables
Aluminum components and carbon fiber push cables in various stiffnesses and lengths enable a complete system that can be transported by one person.
Integrated HD camera technology
The HD camera produces real-time documentation in high-resolution photos and videos; the lens is cleaned by an integrated wiper.
AR goggles and haptic gamepad control
Control is wireless via an ergonomic gamepad (up to 40 hours of battery life) with AR goggles and haptic feedback during milling.

Quality and Standards
The systems are modular in design: backup modules and redundant configuration options increase system availability, and a defective module can be replaced with a functioning one within a few minutes. The system has received awards including the TÜV certificate, the Jugend Innovativ prize and the WKO – documented on the company website.
