About us
Fodor Frästechnik GmbH is a third-generation, family-owned CNC machining company based in Donzdorf at the foot of the Swabian Alb. The company manufactures simple to complex components, high-quality tools, volume models, machine parts and custom-made products. Its specialization lies in CNC milling from 3-axis, 3+2-axis and 5-axis simultaneous machining through to 6-axis machining using an NC turning chuck, for example for form roll engraving. With four 5-axis machining centers (travels 6,000 x 3,500 x 1,800 mm) and handling capacities of up to 25 tonnes of component weight, the company covers the entire spectrum from heavy and rough machining (HPC/HSC) to precision finishing. The material range includes plastics (non-fiber-reinforced), aluminium, non-ferrous metals, steel from structural steel to high-alloy tool steel as well as grey cast iron and cast steel. Customers come primarily from toolmaking, mechanical engineering and model making. The 1,500 m² production hall is fully climate-controlled at 21 °C; since 2023, a PV system with 98.4 kWp has been generating around one third of the energy requirements. The company is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN EN ISO 14001:2015.
