About the Fördertechnik Museum

The Fördertechnik Museum in Sinsheim is an experiential museum located on the site of the former Axmann Conveying Technology company. On 2,500 m² of indoor floor space, it displays over 150 systems and devices from all eras in the development of transport and conveying, which visitors can also experience in operation. The exhibits include a letter sorting machine, a shoe sorter from the USA, a 200-year-old horse-drawn cart from Romania, and a 120-year-old mill elevator. Since 2017, the decommissioned Car 5 of the Wuppertal Suspension Railway has served as a walk-in visitor attraction. The museum offers an open visitor workshop with the fischertechnik construction system, the Axmann workshop with assembly of models made from original industrial profiles, workshops, an indoor play hall, and rooms for seminars and corporate meetings.
