Fola Abfülltechnik GmbH, based in Mettmann, has been active since 1993 as a contract filler for sealants and adhesives. The company, with around twelve employees, handles filling, labelling, packaging and packing of adhesives and sealants as well as technical compounds into a wide variety of containers: 310-ml standard and 290-ml thick-walled cartridges, 400-ml and 600-ml sachets, foil tubes, PE bottles, tin cans, 2-component cartridges and pails, also directly from IBC containers. Filled products include silicone, MS polymer, polyurethane and STP hybrid sealants, acrylates, reactive adhesives, epoxy resins, encapsulation compounds and fillers, predominantly as 1-component systems. In addition to contract filling, the company distributes its own product range under the Bondtec brand and offers private label solutions for wholesalers, industry and small and medium-sized enterprises. Customers come from construction and the trades, the automotive industry, caravan and vehicle manufacturing and retail. Since 2019 the company has produced in a new building in the Mettmann East industrial estate; in 2021 a cartridge filling machine and a fully automatic labelling machine were commissioned.
