About FOLGNER
Since 1977, the FOLGNER Group has manufactured custom-made sun protection and building elements for residential and commercial construction. The product range includes roller shutter elements, FORSA® external venetian blinds (including the i88 slat), ZipScreens as wind-stable textile screens, the SkyTwin combination system of roller shutter and ZipScreen in a surface-mounted system, insect screen systems with optional pollen protection, custom-made awnings for wall, ceiling and rafter mounting, as well as roller and top-mounted sectional doors with roller grilles. The offering is complemented by smart home systems for building control, which can also be retrofitted. Production takes place in Germany – since 1 March 2022 in a new production plant in Rieschweiler with 7,000 m² of production space; another site is located in Bad Aibling. Sales are handled through a brokered network of specialist partners, complemented by an online specialist partner search and a ZipScreen configurator for width, height, box size and colour. The company is family-owned in its third generation.
