About Folo-Tec
FOLO-TEC GmbH is a family-owned company based in Saalfeld/Saale and has been processing plastic sheets since 1999, with a particular focus on HPL (High Pressure Laminate). Its range of services includes sizing, cutting, edge processing, milling, laser cutting, engraving, and printing of plastic sheets. In addition, the company offers design, prototype development, assembly and mounting services, kitting, final manufacturing, and express production. Customers come from medical technology, the furniture industry, and device and mechanical engineering; one example is HPL panels for operating tables. On approximately 2,700 m² of production space and 1,500 m² of warehouse space, Folo-Tec processes around 20,000 m² of plastic sheets annually. For HPL production, the semi-finished product manufacturers are selected according to the company's own quality standards; sustainable panels with up to 80 % content from renewable raw materials are offered. Since 2022, Robert Schreiner has led the company in its second generation, supported by plant manager Nico Graf.
