About FoMaSystems
FoMaSystems GmbH, based in Lauf an der Pegnitz (Bavaria), develops, manufactures and distributes high-precision camera stabilizers, stabilized remote heads and accessories for the international film and broadcast industry. The company was founded in 2014 by Dr.-Ing. Roman Foltyn and Rainer Maertin and became internationally known with the hybrid 5-axis stabilizer Trinity (with ARRI) and its successor Trinity 2. The product range includes the Maxima stabilizer (Mk II), the FoMa Antares remote head series, and remote controls such as the RCP 2 EVO. In addition to hardware manufacturing – according to its ISO-9001 certificate, production of software and electronic devices for film and video production, industrial electronics, medical as well as measurement and control technology – FoMaSystems offers Custom Integration, AR/Virtual Production integration, third-party protocol integration, remote head control via IP (FoMa IP Bridge) and Robotic Solutions. The Evolve OS software platform delivers real-time metadata for data-driven workflows. Development and sales partnerships exist with ARRI and Ross Video; distribution is worldwide through resellers. For the development of Trinity 2, Dr. Roman Foltyn and Curt O. Schaller received the Scientific and Technical Award of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as well as an Engineering, Science & Technology Emmy Award.
