About foodie & friends
foodie & friends is a family business led by Dirk Siemenowski, based in Berlin, which produces certified organic spice and herb blends. Most of the production is done by hand; no fillers, anti-caking agents or flavour enhancers are used. The products are deliberately filled into packaging made of PaperWise paper from agricultural residual materials as well as into tinplate tins — plastic and aluminium are avoided. The paper packaging is certified for recycling via waste paper. Distribution takes place through the company's own online shop, B2B contacts and retail (including VollCorner in Munich). Shipping is within Germany; the company is certified by the organic control body DE-ÖKO-070.
