About Forchem
Forchem Oyj refines Crude Tall Oil (CTO), a by-product of the pulp industry from Nordic forests, at its site in Rauma, Finland. Through distillation, fractions such as Tall Oil Fatty Acid (TOFA), Tall Oil Rosin (TOR) and Distilled Tall Oil (DTO) are produced, as well as the pitch fuel Fortop600. In addition, the company offers customer-specific special blends made from the various distillation fractions. The products are used, among other things, in the chemical industry (paints), as antibacterial ingredients in animal feed, and as an alternative to fossil fuels. Forchem conducts its own research and development to obtain sustainable alternatives to non-renewable raw materials and has been awarded for this several times. The standard delivery term is FCA Rauma (Incoterms 2020).
