About Forel
Forel S.p.A. is an Italian company founded in 1976 by Fortunato Vianello, based between Treviso and Venice, specialising in the manufacture of machines and systems for flat glass processing and insulating glass (IGU) production. The product portfolio includes vertical cutting lines for laminated glass, edge processing machines (arrissing), glass breaking and sorting systems, PVB laminating equipment, and production lines for insulating glass with thermoplastic, rigid and flexible spacers. Across two production plants with a total floor area of 30,000 m², the company employs around 250 staff. Reference customers from the project reports come from, among others, the United Kingdom, Scotland, Japan, North America, Poland and Italy, including Energy Saving Glass Ltd, Schollglas, Tritemplex, NBS, Cooling Brothers and Ravensby Glass. In addition, Forel offers technical customer service with a 24/7 help desk, maintenance and project support including plant installation. In 2026 the company will celebrate its 50th anniversary and opened a new location in Canada with Forel North America.
